Manufacturer Warranties

Manufacturer Warranties

Equipment and parts sold on Younits.com come with Manufacturer Warranties. Younits.com does not warranty parts and equipment itself, nor does it sell additional product or labor warranties. All warranties are issued, honored and decided on by the Manufacturer.

Warranty Eligibility

Warranty eligibility and period varies by Manufacturer. You are often required to register your model and serial number with the Manufacturer within a certain timeframe in order for you to be eligible to receive the warranty.

Products such as but not limited to: Furnaces, Coils, Air conditioners, Heat pumps, Mini split systems, Boilers, Packaged Units, PTAC/PTHP, High velocity systems, Hot water heaters (indirect and direct fired) etc. require the use of a licensed HVAC professional to conduct the installation of such systems.

Failure to comply with manufacturers' explicit requirements, both written and implied, voids the warranty in full with no prejudice.

Before buying a unit from Younits.com, you should visit the Manufacturer's website to ensure you understand the full terms and eligibilty. In some cases, Younits.com posts the warranty period for the products it sells. However, since the Manufacturer is the one issuing, honoring and deciding on the claim, it's important to always double check with the manufacturer prior to purchase.

How to File a Warranty Claim

In the event of a premature failure or system issue your first step will be to contact your installer or local licensed contractor to identify the problem and perform all of the required troubleshooting steps. Younits.com does not provide technical support or troubleshooting. A licensed HVAC professional near you should always be the one diagnosing the problem for you.

The licensed HVAC professional should make use of the Manufacturer's tech support hotline. They will help the contractor identify the problem, diagnose the solution, and identify parts needing to be replaced.

Assuming your equipment is eligible to be covered under the Manufacturer Warranty, the contractor should file a claim directly with the Manufacturer.
