York Replacement Parts
York International had humble beginnings in York, Pennsylvania, in 1874. Patents and/or funding from Stephen Morgan Smith, Jacob Loucks, Henry LaMotte, Oliver Bollinger, George Buck, and Robert Shetter enabled this company to get up and running under the name of York Manufacturing. Their original products were The Bollinger Turbine Water Wheel, the Success Washing Machine, and a corn planter/cultivator. The main income stream was from selling York parts and repairing these machines. Since that time, York has serviced the needs of the government, including the military, as well as many businesses and individuals. The company was purchased by Henry H. Smyser in 1882 and expanded to compressor engines. Then, in 1885, the Jarman Ice Machine was built, and York has been on the leading edge of HVAC innovation ever since. In 2005, York International was purchased by Johnson Controls, but they are still providing the same exceptional quality York HVAC parts.
